Terri Thompson
	I am a multi-faceted artist, not a "dabbler".  My intent is to combine both my spirituality and sensuality with my love of natural wonders.  Art is the unbridled, unrestrained outlet for expressing my creative, spiritual and sensitive side.  I find myself constantly reaching for the "medium of the moment" to express my belief in the sacredness of life and the importance of balancing all aspects of it.  Sometimes this is achieved through combining painting, poetry, and prose on both paper and fabrics.  At other times, it is through my sculptures. Using the genre of fantasy I explore that thin veil between the physical and spiritual planes.  I also explore the connection between humans, other animals and nature.  Although, I am able to give literal representations of people and objects, I prefer to use literal forms only in so far as they serve me in expressing my visions.
