"Mama Earth" welcomes you with open
arms to abundance and plenty...
Her whales dance,
enjoying the wonders of
creation.
I imagine that when the
spark that is life ignited,
everything wanted to be
everything it was possible
to be all at once.  Spores
burst, seeds flew, fins
fluttered in water and
caterpillars crawled up
vines that flowered and
bore fruit that dropped
seeds that became more
plants that bore pods that
burst and sent out spores
that found other plant's
flowers that were eaten by
caterpillars that were
eaten by birds...
Watercolor
I sometimes explore the
cycles of life and distill it
down to the elements it's
made of .  Earth,  Air, Fire,
and Water...  At the center of
it all is Spirit.  The life-force
itself.
Batik fabric painting.
My concepts of the divine are
definitely feminine.  "Banyan
Tree - Mother Goddess" has
her roots in the earth.  Her
leafy crown is topped with a
ring of stars around a crescent
moon.

After you've seen the face of
the Goddess, how can you go
back?  There's no going back
for me...
